County Centenary Camp -
This camp was held at Stithians Showground on Friday 25th - Monday 28th May 2007, and was for Cubs, Scouts, Explorer Scouts and Leaders, with Beavers attending on day visits. With 1135 young people on site, and over 800 adults, leaders and support crew, the total attending and visiting was in excess of 2500. The camp went well, despite the heavy rain and strong winds. A big 'Thanks' and 'Well Done' to all who attended.
  
Facts & Figures
There were only 8 of the 64 Groups camping on site who left the camp before the closing ceremony on Monday
There were 169 Recorded entries on the Site Security/Safety Team Log Book
There were 4 Incidents recorded for Safety/Insurance reasons
There were 27 injuries (Including the use of the Air Ambulance on the Saturday !)
There were 40 staff on the Site Safety Team
There were 30 songs sung at the Camp Fire
There were 22 Portaloos on site
There were 9 main extendable flagpoles in use, (two on which were snapped by the wind)
There were 9 four wheel drive 4x4 Landrovers or similar in use by the Service Crew
There were 5 large double Biffa bins on site for rubbish - all were filled !
There were 400 Beaver Scouts visiting during the weekend
There were team members on site from Yorkshire, Preston, Coventry, Matlock and Hampshire amongst others.
There were still two troops on site until the end of the week (1st Par, St.Blazey & Fowey & 1st Sticker)
There were over £700 of sweets were sold in the tuck shop !

Property found at the Camp, was held onto for 10 weeks and listed on this site; all has now been disposed of.
