2 in number litter sweeps, one with West Looe Town Trust on 24th March picking up litter in the Mill Pool car park in Looe and the other as part of Beachwatch with East Looe Town Trust on 16th September we collected litter, keeping a record of the types of items found, from the beach at Hannafore in Looe (E2).
Section 3 – I3 – One hundred Scouts spoken to on JOTI / JOTA.
We soon realised that this was going to be more difficult to complete than we first thought, especially as we were having a Scout Camp the same weekend.
We have however donated in excess of £100 to Shelter Box. (I1)
Section 4 – S1 – One hundred pounds raised for your Group.
This was achieved by selling Cream Teas at Morval Steam Rally over August Bank Holiday weekend.

F2 100 prayers or poems planned for early December - Beavers, Cubs & Scouts
E2 100 pieces of litter (and then some!) to be collected on a 'Beach Clean'/Litterpick on Sat 15 Sept - Porth Beach after summer hols!Update 20/09/07: Section 2 E2: This Saturday the 15 September the 5th Newquay Scouts and Cubs gathered at noon on Porth Beach and collected 7 black bin-bags full of litter - mostly nylon bits from the fishing industry, although there was the odd bit of litter from chocolates, crisps, etc packets and a bag full of recyclables (which we put in the recycling at the tip) namely the odd bit of 'sea glass' which is bits of broken glass worn smooth by the waves & sand, as well as several beer cans, beer bottles and two wine bottles!
I1 - £100 (and then some hopefully) raised - Sponsored swim in aid of Playpumps
(see www.playpumps.org for more info about this very worthy cause) - to be done on Sat 30 June
S2 - 100 nights to be camped by the group (We’re using the allowed "poetic licence" on this one, to mean one night per person camping - so Beavers' BT Giant Sleepover can be used in the 100 nights total!)With Beavers and Cubs joining in the BT Giant Sleepover on Saturday 16 June, we have camped 100 nights (with this Beavers sleep-over and Cubs and Scouts having enjoyed the Challenge and Stithians camps). Note: we used the "poetic licence" allowed and counted each child's each night away this year. Updated 22/06/07 - Estimated Completion December
Approximate numbers: Beavers: 10; Cubs: 15; Scouts: 12  - Total = 37
