County Scout Skills Day 2009:
What ?
Open to PLs/APLs or Scouts of the age for a practical day where they will be taught skills

Where and When?
This event will take place at Nine Ashes, Bodmin on Sunday 8th March 2009.
How much?
The cost is £6.00 per young person & packed lunch.

Young People's Forum/Water weekend 2009:
What ?
Open to Young People (PLs/APLs) on a first come, first serve basis.
Further information following next ADC planning meeting in November to discussion Forum requests.
Where and When?
This event will take place at Bude on weekend 3rd - 4th May 2009.
How much?
The cost is to be finalised (dependant upon activities offered, central catering, camping fees etc...)

County Scout Winter Camp 2009:
What ?
Open to patrols, troops
following similar format/programme as 2008, reviewing feedback and ideas as requested by County Scout Young People's Forum (who met @ Winter Camp 2008)

This event will take place at Nine Ashes, Bodmin on weekend of 16th - 18th October 2009.
How much?
The cost is £10.00 per young person, Leaders cost £3 per head both exclude food / transport.

County Award Presentation Ceremony
We hold a special event twice a year in the Spring & Autumn to congratulate and recognise the achievement within scouting. During this presentation, we present receipicants with a County Certificate (and their actual award & badge if haven’t already been presented locally previously) and encourage their Parents and Leaders to attend and support them.
Scout, Explorer, Network & Fellowship Section Leaders are requested to inform their respective ADC or equivalent of details of all those that have achieved the above award prior to the two presentation days.
The County Spring Presentation Day will be held at 2pm on Saturday 21st March 2009 at John Keay House, St.Austell. The deadline for presentations at this ceremony is Friday 13th March 2009.
National Sea Scout Centenary Camp 2009
1st-8th August - National Sea Scout Cenenary Jamboree, Holme Pierrepont, Nottingham
This water sports jamboree is open to all Sea Scout and Sea Scout Explorer groups, with exclusive use of all the water sports facilities at Holme Pierrepont for the whole week, in addition to all the jamboree land-based activities we shall be running. The cost is £135 per person, which includes all activities, entertainment and camping fees with each group providing their own catering. Leaders not taking part in the activities will pay a reduced price of £95.
